Hi, i'm wondering if the International snack exchange is gonna happen this year? If Gwyndolium can do it again this year that will be great!

If not, maybe i should have the honour to run it :3 if he don't want to do it?

If it happens, then i'm gonna bring Turkish snacks to sample out for you guys ;)

Drift

Would be nice to have. I missed it last year, but the year before I really enjoyed it.
If the event will be run again this year, I will try to participate.

Ralesk

I'm always up for this!  We'll be arriving directly to EF, so now there's less trouble with the food storage, too.

Yes! I've been in these every previous years and it's been really nice event. Eating, tasting new foods, chatting with people :) I surely bring something.

Shaman

I would also be interested in this happening again :9

Sounds like fun, but I don't think Norway has anything exciting to offer xD

I'm sure you have sweets and maybe some local (non-alcoholic) drinks :)  Or local cheese, or local... anything! :D

It's not like I have a choice anyway as they will put it in the booklet no matter what haha.
Probably will do it again but want to speak to the charity to see if we can arrange something this time.

So Pinky if you are reading this I'll probably be poking you very soon about it ;)

I'm up for this me too.

I'll bring something more than what I brouhgt last year.

Any particular request about italian's snacks?

For those of us unfamiliar with what Italy offers in the way of snacks, perhaps you might provide a list of popular snacks with details for each, such as:

1)  What is it called
2)  What is it like to eat (is it crunchy, salty, chewy, sweet, bite-sized, bar, biscuit, wafer, etc).
3)  What is it made of (primary ingredients).
Vulpine fortunes are precarious; people wish either to build monuments to us - or to hang us.

Drift

Beeing partly italian, I would like to bring along the same stuff I brought two years ago:
- Fonzies (delicious corn/cheese puffs)
- Chinotto (non alcoholic herbal drink, like Jägermeister without alcohol)

I live close to Italian border but I've never heard of it. It would be interesting to try.

Btw, is this supposed to be sort of a buffet where people can walk around and sample?

No, the idea is that it's a place where people can share food from their culture with other people who do the same and enjoy doing so.
It's about tasting small bits or sip small drinks and is in no way a replacement for dinner or lunch neither should it ever be.

Hope this helps :)
