have to be lobotomised to be working for Axel Springer's tabloid scum.
The Independant has done an article about it:

But all in all, the article wasn't bad.
By the way, photographer Adam Berry made several photographs and sold them to Getty Images without asking the people being shown beforehand. He reportedly didn't delete photos as requested when caught. Unfortunately, it was not brought to our attention while he was here, but I don't remember him contacting us at all, and he reportedly didn't wear a press badge. You can find the thumbnails by searching for "Eurofurence" http://www.gettyimages.de/
If you find a picture that was shot without your consent, especially in a private area, and shows your face (not fursuit!) as the main subject, and you don't agree with it, please contact Getty Images and ask them to remove the picture from their catalogue and recall it from all online publications that licensed it.
The AFP pictures by Odd Andersen that are showing up in the same search are looking okay to me, by the way.

Dunno, I've seen better. Half of the "Independent" article was talking about furry fandom not being about sex, and quotes like "only 37% of furry respondents claimed that sexual interest is important to their furry activities" don't really convey a neutral message either. - I like the "Tagesspiegel" article, I think that one got it right (even the jargon) and was quite informative.

State propaganda, to be exact. They are a subsidiary of Russia Today ("RT"), which owned by the Russian state via RIA Novosti. Ruptly mainly provides (uncommented, but suitably edited)
war propaganda the Russian point of view on conflicts between Russia or its neighbours and other states, as well as reports about the supposed decadence of "the West".
They pulled the very same stunt at Anthrocon this year, by the way.

Purely Putin's state propaganda (the same dang as "RT") owned by the Russian government.
Nothing but blatant propaganda of Russian Way of Life and questionable facts to show how bad the neighbors are.
I wonder what they voiced over that footage.

Yeah, that one came out quite ok, but I am wondering about the footage from the artshow. Were they allowed to film there? Some of that footage looks like it was taken secretly. Luckily enough they didn't show the adult stuff.

Yes, all filming was fully authorised, including the artshow shots. The artists gave their permissions for the closeups.

Oh WHOW. *This* is what you'd have to show to first-timers, people being curious for your strange hobby, or all who can't be at the con.
Anni did a good job and asked [also herself] just the right questions and just did what many non-fursuiting "beginners" probably would love to do: Talk to many suiters, be part of the mood and even try a suit on, whew. I like her instant reaction when she saw herself in the mirror. She just realised what we, watching her, thought just moments earlier, right?
All thumbs up! I see this video as a helpful resource for further cons! It's a nice "guide to fursuiting" and the backgrounds of the fandom!

Hey Basil and all other german-disabled people in the world!
Took me a day more but I finalized a set of english subtitles for the (IMHO) superb EF 20 Video © by Arte. To keep all rights preserved, you'll find the subtitles (supertitles, to be precise :) prefixed to the original arte website.
Click here for ->> the English version (http://flox.at/ef/eurofurence-20-arte-creative-festival-geil-berlin.html).
For best viewing experience, scroll the video so it shows at the very top, then start the video, and in the moment you hear the first tone of the clip, start the subtitles, too.
I hope you'll enjoy the video even more now!
Cheers,

Sorry, but SERIOUSLY?!? It's about the subculture and not about Eurofurence in particular.
This is no Eurofurence promotion video...
Since everybody is experiencing his or her first furry con in a total different way (most of the "newbies" followed "experienced" friends anyway) it doesn't make any sense, imho, to give a "how to EF" or "how to be furry the right way" guidance. And all you need to know about "how to EF" you'll find in the conbook.
