And that's why we just say "Human-like animals, like Pink Panther and Disney's Robin Hood" around muggles.
But all in all, the article wasn't bad.

By the way, photographer Adam Berry made several photographs and sold them to Getty Images without asking the people being shown beforehand. He reportedly didn't delete photos as requested when caught. Unfortunately, it was not brought to our attention while he was here, but I don't remember him contacting us at all, and he reportedly didn't wear a press badge. You can find the thumbnails by searching for "Eurofurence" http://www.gettyimages.de/

If you find a picture that was shot without your consent, especially in a private area, and shows your face (not fursuit!) as the main subject, and you don't agree with it, please contact Getty Images and ask them to remove the picture from their catalogue and recall it from all online publications that licensed it.

The AFP pictures by Odd Andersen that are showing up in the same search are looking okay to me, by the way.

Dunno, I've seen better. Half of the "Independent" article was talking about furry fandom not being about sex, and quotes like "only 37% of furry respondents claimed that sexual interest is important to their furry activities" don't really convey a neutral message either. - I like the "Tagesspiegel" article, I think that one got it right (even the jargon) and was quite informative.

I picked up a newspaper at Schonefeld Airport on Sunday that has a 5-page spread on EF- if anyone here's seen it, it would be good to get a translation!

Thanks nobs! The (German) Google translation is great :)

"Festival der größten europäischen Kuscheltiere", "Hunderte von Teilnehmern in allen Arten von ausgestopften Tieren, spielen Künstler, Tierforscher, Schriftsteller, Tänzer gekleidet Marionetten" :D :D

Yes, they are publishing the news agency reports about Eurofurence each year. Apparently they are at least picking the pictures manually.

THE one from the BZ sounds like it's been read by a trainee. My personal favorite however is the one from Neukoellner.net   #p

I found Liam's suit on Getty and I am pretty sure he don't want it there!
