...Book the ENTIRE hotel next time instead of one block of it?

Just asking....  :)

As said so often before: if your question begins with "can't you just" don't ask it.

No we can not. No offence but the reasons have been explained so often by now. EF got every single space they possibly could.

We actually are!
Well, at least the ENTIRETY of what we CAN book. And I do believe that's the full amount of beds the hotel can legally block for us.
There are other, older, long-running contracts reserving some rooms for other purposes (usually external booking agencies or airlines), so yeah, those we cannot have, unfortunately.

*purrrr*

Oh, wow, we never thought about that, thanks for pointing it out, I'll call the Hotel right away :)

Sorry, could not resist :) But seriously, if you ask about something that seems to be glaringly obvious, there are two possible outcomes:

1) We are too stupid to see obvious things
2) It's not as obvious as it seems after all

I can't rule out 1) in every possible case, but honestly, which do you think is more likely? Get up from your armchair for a second :)

No hard feelings tho :) We get a lot of questions like that. It's fine.

Make one thing clear: YOU ARE NOT STUPID. There. I said it. You folks are hard working furs behind the scenes and you deserve all the kudos you can get! (and some cookies too!)

But yeah, it's nigh on impossible to fill the entire HOTEL (the biggest one in europe even!) to fill with furries. That would be... insane? Or awesome? Anyways. To book the ENTIRE HOTEL full. It cannot be done. Let's leave some room open for the common folk who certainly be liked to be hugged.

So. It just cannot be done.

Well it is possible and it is "only" the third time it happened since I joined in EF15.
Overflow hotels are common these days and although the new hotels did more then double the capacity since then, we managed to book them solid earlier.
Both in days from registration start for a given year
and also in consecutive cons since EF switched hotel and the first year it was booked solid.
In the case of Estrel... The second year it held EF if I'm not mistaking.
The grow is quite extraordinary.

Exactly. As was said earlier, because of rooms reserved for airlines and travel agencies with long running contracts that can not be cancelled.
