There's ever such a slight difference between your interpretated "Gangsta", and what was actually suggested, which was "Gangsters", i.e: 1920/30's american mafia, the mob etc....

Someone suggested a soviet theme a bit further up the thread, that could be good, given the hotel and the history of the environs.

There is a weath of fantastic imagery from the period and there is plenty of potential there.
