Hi, everyone!

Allright, we survived another Eurofurence, and as always, we have two official group photos for you: The one with all attendees (at least all that were awake), and the one with the fursuiters. To keep things simple, I wil only use ONE thread this year, instead of two

i got 2 questions, what sort of lens or camera did you use for these massive pictures and when the heck was that huge con group photo???

First answer: That was a Canon EOS 5D MkII. The fursuiter photo was shot with a Samyang 14mm lens, and for the big one I used a 70-200mm IS from the balcony in the 7th floor.
Second answer: Well...Yes...As always, this happened on saturday morning at 11:30, as announced in the con book, and on paper on the elevators

I can't see a problem with that - They're a gift to the community, so why shouldn't you be allowed to show them around?

The 7th floor was a great idea, the picture turned out much better with much less distortion than before

The distortion was no such big problem, this must be expected from a 14mm lens. The main idea of the old version of the group photo was to show that we completely *own* the hotel, with a filled lobby area AND filled balconies. But since we cannot get all the people out of their beds to really achive this, the new idea is "second best", and at least shows a lobby area that is completely filled. Actually, I'm happy with the new concept
