Dear Eurofurence.

I had a question about the time tables.

On Friday the art auction closes from 17:30 - 19:00.
But the Rock'n'Roll starts at 19:00 and seating even 30 min earlyer.

How come there has been left no space between a big event and a important auction closing time?
This means people will have to miss out on the art closing event since they have to be at the Rock'n'Roll seating around 18:30.

We had these problems in the past where they actually delayed big events so people could do there final biddings at the art auction closing round. (as far as i can remember)

I wondered why this was done since there will be people not staying there till the end because they want to see rock'n'roll. Meaning less bids (and stuff maybe going to art auction) also for charity.

Kind regards,
WhiteShadowFox.

The Art Closing has been moved around a bit in search of a good place, actually... we could not overlap with the Fursuit Parade for the same reasons. Ultimately we set the Closing back a little, because overlap with Seating was deemed less critical.

We do aim to keep the Closing at one hour only, so it would hopefully end at 18:30 with the start of the seating. Due to the unknown number of bids that will be placed, we figure in half an hour of extra time nevertheless - but you can help us being in time by placing the bids early, quickly, and decidedly.

The Charity is not affected by the Closing this year anyway.
