Gets expensive after a while... is it really worth it?

And who thought up the beverage "Professional Hunter," anyway? lol

Its worth it.

Well its not possible to translate it that way  :)

I'd say "master hunter" would be a more appropriate translation :)

Actually, it's only about 15 USD, so it's quite affordable, and compared to what most people spend on beer around these parts, I can't complain.

I myself must avoid alcohol at all costs... since my severe allergic reaction to a Captain Morgan-filled Diet Coke I accidentally drank down in México, I cannot enjoy the "finer" things in life. Not even Jägermeister. :p

Because of that, my doctor had diagnosed me with ADD.

I'm here if you need me, Uncle Kagé. ^^

I'll be with you.. I could keep you company while the rest is drunk. I don't drink  :P

Well, yeah, though in American English, "Professional" and "Master" are interchangable, but British English, they are not. (Professional = Of a profession, or one's profession.)

And since British English is the correct form of English, I deduce that Cheetah's translation is more accurate than my own. ^_^

8 years of learning German and you'd think I'd get that right... ah well. ^^

Anyway... back on topic... sorry for the rubbish. ^^

Clearly I'm missing out here on something. The last time I had alcohol was a near-death experience for me, so I will never get nor understand the pleasures of this Jägermeister beverage. :p

Be my guest, I tasted the stuff but was not all that impressed. ::)
But then again I'm not really a big fan of alcoholic beverages anyway.

I think I must blame Nightfox for this one, but before EF, I was almost solely a Whiskey drinker.  I like Jager, but wasn't adoring it.  Now, I mix it with a lot of different things (my new favorite is Apple Juice, Jager, and Spiced Rum), or just drink it straight.  Let's just say, there will away be a bottle in the freezer!  Thanks Nightfox!

Absinthe is one of those "other world" beverages... I'm not sure what its purpose is. Most people as I understand it drink to socialize, or to get a light "buzz" (which is a sign from your brain that your oxygen and/or water content in your brain is low). Is this "Absinthe" really dangerous?

Only if you drink too much of it for too long ( but thats pretty much the case with all sort of alcohol ;) )
The reason it has a bad reputation is because it was the only alcohol available in some back-water valley (because distilled on site) and some murder cases put the blame on people over-drinking it. So it was banned from store and labeled as a making people crazy.
Something like that.

edit:
it is pretty nicely explained there:

@ Fawks Beaumont

You are very welcome.  ;D

It would be an honor to show you more longdrink variations next time.

I trust that Jaegermeister will also be next year's unofficial sponsors again? :P

To be honest, i had nothing to do with that hype, i just gave the hotel the Tap Machine, the rest was done by themselfs.
