I have an idea that quite a few members of the Motor Furs Livejournal community will be in attendance at this year's EF with their vehicles, including myself. Is anyone interested in an informal 'bonnets-up' meet in the car park?

If you do have a mini-meet, it would be better to have it in the lower parking lot.  The upper lot is just a long line of parking spots and fills up quickly, the lower lot has a LOT more room to shove off your rides and it's only about 200m from the hotel itself.

I like this idea, and suggest that maybe someone *looks at shep as it was his suggestion * pops a post about the idea in the motor_furs LJ. I know there's going to be quite a few petrolheads in the UK convoy, and I've seen some good looking cars from across the continent in the car park in the previous couple of years, so it could certainly be an interesting meetup.

Mayhaps if something can be arranged in time before the conbook/timetable is printed, we could maybe arrange a slot on the timetable handout, so that everyone knows when it will be?

(I don't know what I'll be driving over yet, I should know in a couple of months, hopefully before Confuzzled ^.^;  )

I'd be half-tempted to show my car off, but sense everything is stock, it would just be showing off an American engine.

@ Fawks Beaumont: Some of us *like* stock American engines, what have you got? (I'll only be showing off a "Stock" Japanese engine )
