Soo... Anybody else up for repeating the success once more? ;)
I would be willing to be the one 'booking' the event with the event team, but I just need to know if ppl are still up for it and all :)
Myself I'm still considering exactly which Danish snacks/foods/drinks I'll bring, seeing as I brought the very most classic ones the past two years XD
We will bring some hungarian snacks this year too :)
Like some of Pöttyös Túrórudi, Pilóta keksz, my favorite dish: Zsírosdeszka, and some candy and sweets.
So yes, We'll be there. I think JazzBadger, and Ralesk and maybe Danwolf will also join our little group with the also famous Erőspista (hot paprika) and Haragospista (even more hot paprika) from Hungary:)
I'm definitely gonne bring some snacks - mabye even some homemad :)
How many do usually show up to this thing? I don't wanna run out of snacks to share ;)
Pretty sure there might be some Finns interested in bringing stuff for the event. I'll have to see what I could bring but the usual Salmiakki Koskenkorva is probably on the list atleast hehe.

If someone would bring some real finnish sweet licorice I'd be overjoyed :D
I think I'll bring some butter cookies and some licorice aswell.

Usually, we're around 20-25 people constantly in the room, and with probably up to a hundred people stepping by to taste the stuff in the three hours it lasts xD But remember not everybody will taste everything - bringing enough for a small bite for 50-60 people will do. Like, for example, one full cookie tin is enough cookies for people. :)
Currently there is no event with this name. Somebody need to register it with events@eurofurence.org :)
Would it be an idea to host this event outside?
It would allow for more people if a lot of them show up, they can all hang around if they want to stay and chat.
Spoiler
and a lot easier to clean up afterwards.
Outside where? It would be a bad idea if it were to be bad weather.
There is still no one responsible with this event. If no one takes it it will not happen - you don't want that, right? ;)

I'm writing a mail this very moment :)
Message/mail written, now waiting for the feedback. :) Let's make this as awesome as it always is!
I'll bring some austrian snacks too again.
International Snack Exchange signs and flags
The signs and flags which Henrieke (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/henrieke/)(thanks again!) created last year are still available for everybody to download and print:
(shameless copy&paste from last year entry)
There are two types of signs:
This first set are simply signs showing the country. It would be awesome if each table has at least one of these! I have made signs for each country of which I am aware that people attend or have attended EF and/or have been represented at the snack exchange before. If your country is missing, I'm sorry! Just poke me and I can make one for whatever country or region you'd need. I have put these all in one big PDF, so when printing just select the page(s) that you need.
-Click here for a pdf with all the country signs (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3240743/Snack%20Exchange/Flag%20signs.pdf)- 1.2mb
-Click here for a country sign odt template (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3240743/Snack%20Exchange/Flag%20sign%20template.odt)- 12kb
The second is for individual items. There's space for the snack name, country and a short description. Especially useful for some certain countries *cough* that like disguising their candy as sweets only to put ammonium chloride on the inside XD
I have a pdf that you can simply print and write on, and an odt that you can edit in various programs before printing.

-Click here for the odt template (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3240743/Snack%20Exchange/Snack%20sign%20template.odt)- 15kb
And lastly, here's a zip file with a whole bunch of country flags (gif) that are free to use.

Nope, you just bring your stuff :) No need to 'officially' sign up/register for this :)
BTW guys, I got a mail back from the event team; so now they're busy trying to find up a good time slot and room :)
BUT, in case the starting time of this will be just around where I have a fursuit photoshoot planned with my fursuit maker, is there ANYONE else in here who wants to be a co-host and could start it up instead? Just in case we're/I'm that unlucky :)
I think as long as we have the room and whatever minimal stuff, we can do it — setup is always a multi-person ordeal anyway

Yeah I know... But well, now ppl know why I might be late. if I'm as unlucky as to them picking the starting time to be between 11 am and noon on Thursday, because I'll be at my fursuit maker's photoshoot there, hahahahah
Hey KyuubiSaoirse,
In case it conflicts with your fursuit photoshoot and no other major events conflict with my planning (like fursuit parade or something) I'm sure I can help out and stand in till you are back. I used to run this event from the start and it indeed only really needs somebody to set it up and being responsible. In the end the event often runs itself.
Lemme know if I can help in any way.
Cheers,
Strawberry

Thanks so much :D I'll write in here or PM you if the need arises, but I'll only know when we're closer and the event team gives word on the time slot :)
Hiya guys! I got word on when and where the evnt wil take place now. :)
Thursday at 12-15, in room Nizza.
This means that I probably WON'T be there for the very first par of it, as the photoshoot I'm at is from 11 to 12, but I won't be more than half an hour late :)
Room Nizza?
That one is behind the Estrel-Stube(Steak+Schnitzel) and following the map smaller than room Paris from last year.
Well, since we had enough spare place for a third table row last year nothing to worry about. #p
Hiya guys! You guys just as ready as me? I betcha :D
I didn't have time to make two things for this year's exchange, like I'd hoped to do... But I'm bringing along some Danish 'æblekage' (apple cake, but dear god, no it's not a cake XD) :)
I found a way to make it in smaller servings, since it's usually served in one huge bowl ;)
Basically you have sweet bread crumbs (or something like it), with stewed apples/applesauce and whipped cream on top :) It tastes so damn delicious! And it's a real classic dessert here ^w^ I mean, just look at it!

OH MY GOD YES!
You have to show me how you managed that.
I'm bringing liquorice caramel only, since the gummies I made didn't turn out very well.
I'm so ready for this - I can feel it - my body is ready :o

Woohoo! The Danish table is more than ready, then! :'D
BTW, det lykkedes for mig ved at jeg portions anretter det i små shotsglas og giver folk en lille engangs ske med :P
Thanks to all who supplied! I had some interesting tastings!
