So who has a pre-release of the conbook and can look it up? :)
And what stands PMR for? :D

(Resisting the urge to post a lmgtfy-Link) Private Mobile Radio (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PMR446).
There is no pre release of the conbook yet.
Please look it up at the con.
:( Wanted to write it into the contact information that are printed and laminated today and next weekend.

And you want to give away those cards so people can contact you via PMR? ...
Anyway, things are not decided yet. You could look up last years free channels in last years conbook. But I have no idea if that information will still be valid at the convention.
Sorry, but such a unimportant information has a lower priority than e.g. timetables and co.

Not quite sure if a public PMR channel is the right thing to advertise as your "personal" communication path.
nobody said anything about cards to give away or personal contact info.
On the con PMR sure works better then any cellphone.
Question if answered, case closed.
Hey there,
PMR is a neat thing indeed, but I guess the fewest attendees own a decent radio for this purpose.
As yet, Cellphone worked good for me - even when I used to send/recieve SMS most of the time.
