Hi!
I'm looking to fine a place in Estrel, as every year, but if I don't find it can I back my money? how many time have I to ask about it?

Dhary Montecore

As you could see in the Terms and Conditions before you registered and at any time on the website: no, it is not refundable.

Quote

  • Memberships (including sponsor packages) are not refundable, but transferable.

Everyone is given a 14 day period to pay the registration, which grants everyone the possibility to check their desired accommodation options before paying their registration.

already paid registrations are non-refundable according to our ToS.

But you have the possibility to transfer your registration to someone interested. In this case, just contact the registration team, they can tell you how to do it.

I know and every year I pay because I stay behind my computer ready to register to be sure to have a room, this year that was useless, and I don't get the room not for a my fault... btw if that's the policy, next year I'll pay my bill only when I'll receive remeinder mail

That is okay for us, really. Of course we appreciate fast payments, but if you are unsure to attend because you only want it if you get a room in the main hotel, just wait with your payment.

Edit: oh, and paid registrations don't get you any advantages to get a room.

RedFoxy

I know that paid registrations don't get me any advantages to get a room, just if I don't get the room for my error or after I tried on a regular "fight", like about last 6 years, it's ok, but not in that way, a lottery is more egual than your last way to share the updates about to book...

Sample story
You can't change your mind for some types of purchases

Jane bought a ticket online for a U2 concert in Ireland. She found out the following day that she would have to be out of the country on the concert date, and triedto cancel her ticket. However, the online trader refused to cancel the order and give her a refund, as the 14 day cooling off period doesn't apply to concert ticket purchases.

Well, thank you for clarifying why EF isn't required to give refunds.  :D
I will accept other opinions as long as you all accept that those opinions are wrong.

I can understand you, really and i hope you will get a room in the end.
But just for the record, because you brought it up:

the german "widerrufsrecht" you are refering to is excluded for our type of business in § 312g (3) BGB

I really recommend to book a cancelable rate in the Andel's Hotel for some reasons

- it is cheaper (at least at the moment)
- you can go there by public transport
- during service break of public transport we offer shuttleservice for free
- we offer fursuit overnight storage at the estrel operated and secured by our security team
- if you manage to get a room or bed at the estrel you still can cancle the rate.
