Finally it worked in Chrome on the original ihotelier-site, on my PC after deleting cache+cookies (once again). Since ppl on twitter kept posting that only standard twin rooms were available anymore, I picked that.
It only took 5 hours and 10 minutes. Whoah!

When switching to another language, that very well programmed portal shaves off the group id from the link. Change it in the link (language id 1) instead. :|

I finally got room through the original link - by going through with it in German. it wouldn't let me in English.

Dunno if I was just lucky, but it finally worked for me (about 15 mins ago)

I'm only getting "access denied" on both websites right now... will the system be available again or are all rooms gone?

I managed to get a room through the Travelclick site. I've been getting "Access Denied" notifications on both websites for close to an hour now (and still am, just checking to be sure), but I still had an active session open on the Travelclick one from earlier, and after I changed some dates (checkout date changed to 20th instead of 21st) it suddenly worked. Got a confirmation email and everything.

So yeah, that took almost 6 hours, and I get to stay a day less than I was planning but, honestly, I absolutely dare not complain right now with the mess everyone seems to be in...

I also got a room with travelclick und a Confirmation Email. I also had an old Tab from the website.

I just don't get it, why I was not able, to book through the 21.

Just remember, many people may have booked 2 or more rooms,... once they have their rooms confirmed many will cancel the extras. Rooms will come back, now its just finding who has spares and if you can get them.

Hope is not lost, just a little dimmer.
