What do i do if i have to cancel my whole trip to EF?

I know how to cancel my hotel and plane ticket but what about my registration?

• In order to transfer your membership, both parties are required to send an email to reg@eurofurence.org and express their mutual desire to transfer the membership. The transfer is not valid until it was approved by our registration staff in writing.

ok so what about the cost of the ticket? would the other member just refund me the money i spend on the ticket?
