I know that the Maritim has some laundry facilities - their webpage (http://www.maritim.com/en/hotels/germany/hotel-magdeburg) mentions it.

However, does anyone know the price for using the washers and dryers there?

I have no idea, but knowing the hotel, it won't come cheap!  :o

I think the laundry will be replaced every day or so, and you don't have to worry about that. But why worry about laundry when you have an awesome con right outside your hotelroom?  ;D

*giggles*

This is a 4-star hotel.

Have you noticed the white plastic bags in the cupboard in your hotel room?

You put laundry in, write your name and room number on them, and hand the bag to reception. If you do that until 9am, your laundry will magically appear in your room the next business day, all clean.

But everything comes at a price. Here, the price for this delightful conjuring trick is several Euros for every single piece of laundry. Wash a pair of socks? 3 EUR something. Wash a tshirt? 4 EUR something. Have a shirt cleaned and dry-pressed? 5 EUR something. (see price list for actual prices)

This is a 4-star hotel.

Meh... when I wrote that I was grumpy and tired (thanks, work). For some reason I thought it was a self-service laundry room at the hotel, not a laundry service. :P

As for why? Going to be traveling Europe for the week after the con, so looking for a way to not have to take 2 week's worth of clothes if I can get away with 1 week's and be able to them cleaned mid-way. :P

You could take a walk to a Waschsalon/Wäscherei near the Hotel (purple marker):

Also, a drycleaner / cleaning service across the street, in the shopping center joined the partner programm and will give a discount on the prices.

If you have a few business shirts you can use the hotel service, i did that a few times.
A Jumpy said i think it was 4 euros for a shirt.

If you have a lot of Laundry i would really use the normal drycleaners or a washsaloon :)

Its really not far away.

I hope people understand that participating in a program does not mean a fursuit may be submitted for cleaning. :)

Well, actually, depending on the fursuit, dry cleaning should be perfectly possible :) Although I would not recommend it :)
