timed head-dryers

The large head-dryer was a damn cool thing for so many suiters.
As I understand it they worked very well on all the smaller fiberglass and mesh-heads.
Equally cool where all the industrial blowers and the body-hangers.
Many thanks for the staff here! This was the greatest fursuit-lounge I've ever seen!

Especialy for very large foam-heads I found that a short while on a cheap 120W-fan from a local
home improvement store (some 60eur) turned horizontal in my room
would get my head dry instantly while the constant low air-flow did pretty much nothing I'm sad to say.

If however we would organize a small number of middle-sized fans (Very many people
have and bring these anyway) to do this they would be instantly and permanently blocked.
What is the general opinion of the suiters here about the following proposal:

Lets organize some large but non-industrial fans ourself and have them put on simple timers.
You can put your head on it and the fan will run for 5 minutes.
If you need a fan and one is off but occupied, you can carefully take the foreign
head off and activate it for 5 minutes for your own head.

This could provide fair access to a small array of larger fans to dry your head without
the fans being constantly blocked.
These need not add to the burden of Mystifur and co running the Headless-Area. If enough
think this is a good idea and we can some space on the floor or a table to put these we should
be able organize this ourself.
(Such timers are often used for floor-illumination in houses and are easily avaliable. I could check
about getting some that are plug-in = need no electrician and have the required CE-safety-sign.
If there is enough interest I could get and test them.)

I am not sure fursuiters would be ok with anyone but themselves handling their heads. If anything gets damaged, accidentially or not, a whole blamefest will start.

Good point.
However from what I remember we already have it that you are to remove
already dry heads of other people from the  head-dryer if the slow is needed.
That and of cause that it's a public room where you have your belongings lying around.

I don't think it's actually much of an issue.

I'm instantly imagining timed head-dryer places in the style of ejection seats ... after 20 minutes a small rocket gets fired, and timed-out heads are automatically launched into lower orbit :)

And I'm pretty sure that the Maritim hotel manager is going to have a talk with you concerning "strange holes in the fursuit lounge ceiling".

Because there'll be LOADS of 'em.
