i have to say, as a dutchman......heineken SUCKS. it's like...water from the ditch, but then tasteless.

i rather have a jupiler, grolsch or an warsteiner, although warsteiner has less taste than jupiler.

also. some malt whisky like oban or a nice blended like chivas regal 18 year old goes well too ofcourse

As a Belg, I do not like Jupiler, in my opinion it's no Belgium beer anymore (the interbrew group is international and kills all traditional brewery's and beers in Belgium), if you want a very tasty beer that will get you quickly in the mood I highly recommend Duvel (www.duvel.be, part of the local Moortgat brewery and available in most foreign countries, even in the US and Japan).

i was talking about a beer to just...you know....beer you can drink alot of without falling off you barstool after an hour. duvel i like indeed, but on special occasions, also grolsch kanon is quite...hefty, but a bit too sweet for my taste.

not a good idea though is drinking them both at the same time......*uhum* what i did last weekend *uhum*
